Our Beginning
The Story of Chamu
It started with a mother who couldn’t bear watching her daughter suffer through period pain every month. She suggested jamu — but her daughter refused. “It’s bitter,” she said, echoing what so many of us grew up believing.
So the mother set out to prove her wrong. Batch after batch, she experimented in her own kitchen until she finally created a blend her daughter genuinely craved. The pain faded, cup by cup, and a jamu-hater became a true believer.
That single recipe, born from a mother’s love, was too good to keep to one family. Our founder poured that same love into every blend of Chamu: real herbal benefits, wrapped in a taste people actually crave.
